Hello all phxinternetradio.com DJ's and club members: With ZERO publicity, since this was our private buzz debut week, below are the total numbers of listeners and the states that they listened from, as of Thursday Jan 18 7 pm. Some of the out of states were friends of DJ's, but since we are listed and searchable for our musical styles on live365 already, we certainly got a few new visitors from places unknown.
This is an amazing start -- I remind everyone, if they can, to start submitting their selections for upcoming shifts. Because the new software shows the songs being played, if you do not want to/don't have time to record voice announcements ("this next song is...." etc), that's just fine. Just burn 13-15 songs from different artists (no more than two from the same album or artists in a one hour shift -- but remember, you can have the same artists in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc shifts!) and fill out one of the playlist forms (I've attached a word .doc version). DOn't know how to do this? Bring the CDs by the office and we'll rip them for you! http://www.phxinternetradio.com/Shift-Playlist-form3.htm Monica when you get a chance, can you put a link to the attached playlist .doc on the website? THANKS!
A few officer positions have been filled:
Right now we are looking for someone with a digital camera for a small project. Positions make for excellent extracurriculars to list on a resume, so if anyone else is interested in positions, let me know as soon as possible (and create at least one shift so that you qualify for a position). You can see the list of positions at: http://phxinternetradio.com/STAFF_POSITIONS_FOR_phxinternetradio.htm
HERE ARE THE NUMBERS as of evening of Jan 18 2007 Thursday (three days worth of broadcasting): Geographic breakdown by region and number of listeners as of the end of the week January 18.

It's kind of funny that AOL is considered its own "state".
